I am a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist and director of the maternity unit in Fairfield hospital. I have excellent communication, interpersonal and clinical skills. I have outstanding knowledge and surgical skills and have very strong ability to build rapport with my patients.  

I am a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Obstetrician and Gynecologist and have specialist and general registration with the medical board of Australia (APRHA). 

I have about 20 years’ experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. I completed my fellowship training in Sydney south west area of health service. I worked in Liverpool hospital as an accredited registrar, senior registrar, pelvic fellow and feto-Maternal fellow.  Currently I am a consultant with the following hospitals 

  1. Fairfield hospital (VMO and Director of obstetrics and Gynaecology). 

  1. Sydney South West Private (VMO). 

  1. Liverpool hospital (VMO). 

  1. Shoalhaven hospital (reliever VMO).

During my work as a specialist clinician I gained extensive skills in the following fields 

  • Management of high-risk obstetrics including performing a tertiary level ultrasound for foetal wellbeing and growth 

  • Advanced laparoscopic procedures (level 5) example total laparoscopic hysterectomy 

  • Advanced hysteroscopic procedure like resection of endometrial fibroids and endometrial ablation 

  • Management of abnormal pap smears including colposcopy 

  • Assessment and management of infertility  

  • Advanced gynaecological surgical procedures like myomectomy and excision of pelvic endometriosis 

  • Highly skilled obstetrics procedure like forceps delivery and complicated caesarean sections 

  • Vaginal surgery like repair of Cystocele, rectocele, hysterectomy and Pelvic re-construction 

  • Urogynecology procedure like slings for stress urinary incontinence and cystoscopy 

  • Cosmetic procedures like labiaplasty and pelvic floor repair.  

My clinical and surgical skills are outstanding. I do regular audit to my procedures and have very high patient satisfaction and very low complications rate. I offer my patients excellent level of care in every aspect.

In addition to my public commitment I run very successful private obstetrics and gynecology services as I deliver babies and perform advanced gynecological procedures on weekly basis in Sydney south west private hospital.
